Mark your calendar for the first weekend after the Canadian Labour Day long weekend!  Each year, Hope puts on its own party called Hope Brigade Days! Come for the parade, fireworks, demolition derby, logger sports and now world famous, chainsaw carving competition.  There is also the Briggie Ball, a huge public pancake breakfast and come have your picture taken with Briggie Pete!

The fur brigades that founded Hope are the namesake of the district's annual Brigade Days festival, now running for more  than 30 years.

No doubt you've heard of the Hope Hustle?   This annual footrace up the Hope Lookout Trail climbs 445 metres over 1.7 kms.  A breathtaking view of the Hope region awaits the finishers at the top.  A leisurely hike back down the trails wraps up this event.
